What exactly is a Baracoon?

She is spunky, she is silly, she is a beautiful young lady! I had the pleasure of taking Rana’s senior pictures about a month ago. She is a senior at Comeaux High school and will be graduating later this month. She had the most colorful outfits for her senior pictures. She even brought along her prom dress (which was amazing BTW). Jungle gardens was the setting for her senior pics and having her mom & bestie along for the day made it extra special. I love it when girls have their friends tag along because we get to borrow fun props… her sunglasses made the shoot. “I feel like police officer in these glasses”. Rana had the funniest nickname that I learned about that day too. Her mom is from here in Cajun country and her Dad is from Bahrain. She calls herself a “Baracoon”.
