Each summer every one of my senior model team gets a mini session with me which includes a custom make-up application. This is my chance to have one on one time with them and get to know them a little bit better. I also use it as an opportunity to do some teaching. I get to teach them how to pose, how to bring out emotion for the camera, and use movement in their images. This year features 20 young ladies from 9 different schools in the Acadiana area!
PRO TIP: Being a part of my model team is not only gets you great images all year long, but helps prepare you for your senior session so that you truly knock it out of the park for your “real session”.
I planned a variety of different locations for each of the girls this year including everything from downtown and urban to barns and open fields. That way they got to select the location that best suit their outfit choice. Each of my models was also able to style themselves, so they can bring out so I can bring out their own personality and love their mini session images.
