Meet Brooks! He graduated from Ovey Comeaux High School this past May. He was a uber talented artist that I had the pleasure of photographing. He decided The Mill in New Iberia would be the perfect place for his session. The edgy urban areas were a great compliment for his art and the fields were a perfect place for his treasured car. Check out some of the fun images and his interview.
If you could only pick one thing to have for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Drawing supplies
Who is your hero and why?
I would say my dad, as he has inspired me to keep going even when I want to give up
What is your spirit animal and why?
I would say the penguin, mainly just because I love the cold
Would you rather be the best player on a horrible team or the worst player on a great team?
I would be the best player on a horrible team. I don’t really care how the public would feel as a whole. I would simply want to do the best I can.
What is the funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I recently went to a field trip, and nearly fell face first by tripping on stairs. However, I landed at the bottom without actually falling over, and just stumbled on the stairs.
What are you most proud of from high school?
I am most proud of the work and effort I have put into it.
What are your plans after graduation?
Not likely to start a job. After that, I’m not really sure.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see myself growing my image and becoming more confident when it comes to life in general.
