Meet Toni! She was one of my gorgeous senior model for the Class of 2020. We were able to do her session pre-corona and she chose Rip Van Winkle gardens for her location. One of my favorite things about senior sessions is you get to be you, but also get to try new things. Her mom brought the cutest hat from her closet and we threw it on for a few pics and it ended up being some of their (and my) favorite images!!

If you could only pick one thing to have for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My friends and family because they are always there for me no matter what the circumstances are.
Who is your hero and why?
My hero would have to be my mom. She is simply the strongest women I know. I have watched her take on and defeat some very powerful demons. Through all of that she still continued to push through and be there for her kids in the end. She always looks at the bright side of things and will always be there whether it’s to laugh or cry.
Fads come and go all the time. What’s something that is currently in style, but actually makes them look ridiculous?
So a lot of girls look great in bell bottom jeans but for me it’s a no go. I am really short so I just know they would look horrible on me.
What is your spirit animal and why?
I would probably say my spirit animal is an elephant because I am very kind and gentle but I have also experienced a lot and gone through a lot so I believe I am very strong.
Would you rather be the best player on a horrible team or the worst player on a great team?
The best player on a horrible team.
Have you ever? Answer any or all that apply. Worn clothing with the tags still on? Hitchhiked? Bungee jumped? Been a third wheel on a date? Eaten an exotic food? Been trapped in an elevator?
I have been a third wheel on a date but it was my friends so they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. I have eaten the bug candies at the insectarium in New Orleans.
What is the funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I was in Miami with my friend and her dad and we were just walking and i tripped on an electrical wire in the ground. I fell on it bounced back up then fell on the ground. The bruise on my thigh was huge.
What are you most proud of from high school?
The growth I have made throughout the years.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to go to University of Louisiana at Lafayette and major in speech pathology.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Well in 5 years I will still be in college hopefully with good grades. I hope to have money saved up to move out and get my own apartment and to stop relying on my parents for my bills.
